Scopul prezentului studiu este de a cerceta posibila asociere \u00eentre dou\u0103 polimorfisme func\u021bionale cu nucleotide unice (SNPs): C314T \u00een gena Histamine-N-Metil Transferaz\u0103 \u0219i C2029G \u00een gena Diamine Oxidazei, cu severitatea rinitei alergice \u0219i num\u0103rul de boli alergice, \u00eentr-un grup de copii alergici mexicani.<\/p>\n<p><b>Metode<\/b>: Am studiat 154 de copii alergici f\u0103r\u0103 leg\u0103tur\u0103 intre ei. SNP-urile au fost analizate prin RT-PCR. IgE seric\u0103 total\u0103 a fost m\u0103surat\u0103 prin chemiluminiscen\u021b\u0103 \u0219i histamina seric\u0103 prin ELISA. Am folosit analiza de regresie logistic\u0103 pentru a determina OR.<\/p>\n<p><b>Rezultate: <\/b>Pacien\u021bii care au alela mutant\u0103 pentru orice SNP au avut un risc mai mare de a dezvolta severitate mai mare a rinitei sau un num\u0103r mai mare de boli alergice. Analiza haplotip a ar\u0103tat c\u0103 acest efect este sinergic. La pacien\u021bii care poart\u0103 una sau dou\u0103 alele mutante, nivelurile serice de histamin\u0103 au fost mai mari dec\u00e2t cele ale pacien\u021bilor care purtau numai alele s\u0103lbatice.
